About Anthony Micaroni
A Commitment to Accountability and Common Sense
Anthony Micaroni is running for New York State Assembly because he believes public service should be guided by honesty, responsibility, and moral excellence, not political ambition.
He is not a career politician. He is a father, husband, engineer, and lifelong Central New Yorker who has grown increasingly concerned about the system being passed on to the next generation. That concern, paired with a strong sense of right and wrong, is what led him to step forward.
Rooted in Central New York
Anthony grew up in Canastota and currently lives in New Hartford with his wife and young daughter. Family is central to his life, and becoming a father sharpened his focus on the long-term consequences of government decisions. He attended the University at Buffalo, where he earned degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering.
Today, he works as a Manufacturing Engineer, solving real-world problems through careful analysis, accountability, and practical decision-making. Outside of work and family, Anthony enjoys hunting, clay shooting, making mead, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
Holding Office to a Higher Standard
Anthony views elected office as a responsibility, not a privilege. If elected, his focus will remain on listening to constituents, addressing real concerns, and advocating for practical solutions that improve trust in government and protect individual freedoms. Leadership begins with accountability, and Anthony is committed to earning the trust placed in him.
Why Accountability Matters
Anthony believes the divide between politicians and the people they serve has grown too wide.
When candidates can knowingly lie to voters without consequence, when lawmakers profit from insider trading, and when citizens are subjected to increasing rules while politicians face fewer, trust in government breaks down. These are not abstract concerns. They are obvious problems that affect everyday people.
Anthony believes these issues are solvable if leaders are willing to act with courage and integrity. His commitment is not to party loyalty or political careers, but to fairness, accountability, and the people of the 122nd Assembly District.
He is prepared to work with anyone, Democrat or Republican, when it leads to lower costs, stronger communities, and a more accountable government.
